Cleveland
Concert Band
was formed in January 2007 by a very small group of dedicated musicians
who came from Middlesbrough, Eston, Northallerton, Guisborough, New
Marske, Redcar, Dormanstown and other places surrounded by the Cleveland
Hills in the North East of England. We have grown steadily in numbers since
our first rehearsal of only ten players. We are a very happy and content
team of part-time musicians who enjoy the great company of people of all age groups and abilities.
The band actively support local charities
and groups who would like to raise
money for good causes. The band performs a wide range of music
to cater for most tastes. We
try to
have something for everyone to enjoy.
You don't need to have a music grade to play in this band.
You also don't have to be a great player to sit in on a rehearsal. We
don't care how long you have been playing just as long as you enjoy music and
can read to a moderate standard. Your
welcome to come along to have a blow with us or to just pop in for a
listen. You never know, you might enjoy it as much as we
do and you don't have to join the band to have a practice or two with us.
